An unforgettable day

It was a bright and sunny saturday afternoon. People were enjoying themselves at the East Coast Park- cycling, blading, falling ( well.. those newbiees trying out on their rolling blades), screaming, camping and etc. Suddenly a group of youngesters caught my attention. They brought bags of stuff and spread them on the stone benches in the pavillion. ~ so exciting, a pot-luck party.

Up above the sky, the grey clouds were looming. It began to drizzle lightly... hmmm not too bad. At around 1pm, i saw a girl hugging a plastic bag full of something, strolling towards the pavillion. Apparently enjoying the rain. As soon as she set her second foot into the pavillion, the rain began to pour. Wonderful. In fact, it was a storm that last more than 2h. The people in the pavillion had a great bonding time. The freezing wind sent torrents of cold rain beating mercilessly onto the skins and shivers down the spines. So they whipped out their umbrellas to protect against the bullet-like raindrops and like the penguins in Antarctica, they bond or rather stood closely together for warmth. For more than 2h. Somehow, we managed to eat fried rice from the paper plates.

About 4pm, the storm reduced back to a drizzle. Then there was a loud cheering, a girl with a pink tote bag came and brought out a bottle of beileys. Most of them helped themselves with it including the girl who brought the rain. She poured a 1/4 full cup of baileys. Strangely, about 10 of her friends began to sitt in a line with their eyes set upon her as she began taking sips of it. I dont know how entartaining it could be. Alas! i found out! Her face turned redder every second and the friends asked her the how-you-drunk- questions: how many fingers do I have? How many people are swaying? Poor girl.

In the evening, they celebrated a guy's birthday! The cake looked so pretty with the burning candles. Think they had a good time. At 11.20pm a sub-group went to watch movie, The Prestige. I heard it was a nice movie.
